The first in a series of trainings being offered will be held on January 18th with the topic of Hiring. Sponsored by Tri-County JSEC (Job Service Employers Committee) and held at the Anaconda Job Service Office from Noon to 1:00 pm. Sessions provided at No Cost to You! Business Owners, Managers & Supervisors are your first line of defense against employment lawsuits but are they ready: If you or your management isn’t provided essential employment law training, they can become a devastating liability. Their actions, responses, decisions and comments can spark claims of harassment, discrimination and more. This 12 part video-based program contains everything you need to teach them about 12 legal “hotspots” before a problem arises.

Friday January 18th will be the first in the 12 part series and some of the other topics will cover areas such as: firing, discipline, documentation, wage and hour information. Mark your calendars with the following dates: February 1st, February 15th, March 1st, March 15th, April 5th, April 19th, May 3rd, May 17th, June 7th, June 21st, and July 19th for the remainder of the topics. Come to one or all – you choose. Bring your supervisors and managers – all are welcome!
