For every $10 spent in participating business, you will receive a ticket to enter the drawing. The more you spend the more tickets you receive.
Contest runs November 24-December 1st.
Bring your receipt dated 11/24-12/1 into Steele’s and receive your tickets. The drawing will be at the tree lighting 7:20 pm Friday night. Need not be present to win.

4 pm to 7 pm: Christmas Stroll: Main Street and surrounding streets
Check your Stroll Button Numbers for in-store prizes at participating businesses in Deer Lodge.
There will be store sales and other events throughout the day.
4 pm to 6:30 pm: Santa’s Visit
Santa will be at City Hall on Main Street from 4 pm till 6:30 pm. Christmas youth activities in City Hall second floor. Ages 4-12.
7:00 pm: The Tina Schowengerdt Memorial Parade of Lights down Main Street
Let’s come together in memory of Tina Schowengerdt and ‘Light Up Deer Lodge’. Everyone is invited to take part, individuals, and businesses, big or small. No need to register in advance, but for more information please call Julie on 846-2094. The Parade will form on Main Street by Pizza Hut at 6:45 pm and enter Main Street from Rainbow Avenue at 7 pm. It will proceed south along Main Street ending at Montana Avenue where it will disband.
NO THROWING CANDY FROM THE FLOATS, please. Elves will hand out candy during the Parade.
7:20 pm: Tree Lighting, Prize Drawings & Stroll Button winners
Stroll Button winners 1st $200 Chamber bucks, 2nd $100 Chamber Bucks. Drawing for 55” LG Smart TV and 2 baskets values at $400. The drawing will take place next to the Post Office, after the Lighting of the Community Christmas Tree at 7:20 pm.

7:30 pm: Christmas Festival at the Pen Convention Center, 925 Main Street
The Powell County Museum & Arts Foundation will be holding their annual Holiday Celebration at The Pen. Main events start at 7:30 pm with dinner, no-host bar, door prizes, raffles (including 50/50, liquor basket, etc.) plus Live Music and Dancing. At 9 pm the draw for the winning ticket for the 1966 Factory GT mustang Raffle Car will take place.
7:30 pm: Children’s Movie “Despicable Me 3” (PG): Rialto Theater, 418 Main Street

1 pm to 4 pm: Grant-Kohrs Ranch Holiday Open House
The Kohrs family ranch house will be decorated in late 1880’s Victorian style and open for tours from 1 pm. Items from the Kohrs family collection will be on display. Activities include a scavenger hunt, holiday crafts, horse-drawn wagon rides, Santa, Refreshments, hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows at the Bonfire and more. The open house is free. ♦ Stroll Buttons
Stroll Buttons are on sale at ACE Hardware, Keystone Drug, Gifts & Floral, and Valley Foods. Up to 800 Buttons are available at $3.00 each and provide over 150 opportunities for the wearer to win Store Prizes and over $550 in prizes. During the Stroll, button wearers can visit local businesses, and if they find their number matches the number in the store they receive a prize. Numbers can be checked after the Stroll in most businesses, and some merchants draw extra numbers each week in the run-up to Christmas, so be sure to visit them often. Don’t forget, button numbers will be called out following the tree lighting on Friday at 7:20 pm, giving you opportunities to win Gift Certificates valued up to $300!
♦ Christmas Cash
Interest-free loans of up to $2,000 are available from First Security Bank, Peoples Bank of Deer Lodge and Pioneer Federal Savings & Loan. A $15.00 fee is due at the time of application.
Loans are paid back over 10 months starting January 2018.
Customers presenting Christmas Cash for a purchase MUST sign the front of the cash where indicated. Cash may be used at any participating business. Merchants will need to endorse the back of the Cash and deposit with their bank. The Cash is then redeemed with a 3% discount.
